Butter Brownie Cake

Ingredients:

For the brownie:

140 grams of dark chocolate (in pieces)
50 grams (¼ cup) unsalted butter
50 grams (¼ cup) brown sugar
1 egg
35 grams (¼ cup) flour
For the butter cake

120 grams (½ cup) unsalted butter
100 grams (½ cup) sugar
2 eggs
120 grams (1 cup) flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
50 ml fresh milk

Procedures:

We are going to grease and line a 10cm x 20cm rectangular pancake mold.
We preheat the oven to 180ºC
To make the brownie we are going to melt the chocolate and butter over low heat.  We remove it from the heat once it is melted and let it cool a little.  Add the brown sugar until combined.

Once cold we will add the egg, mix well.  Add the flour, mix until well combined.  Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and bake for 15 minutes.  We take it out and now quickly prepare the dough for the butter cake.
We beat the butter with the sugar until it is creamy.  Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Add the sifted flour and baking powder, slowly add the fresh milk, and mix until a consistent dough is formed.
Now we will pour the butter cake batter over the pre-baked brownie, and put it in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until it is perfectly cooked, which will be when a toothpick is inserted in the center and it comes out clean.
Once ready, we unmold and let it cool.
This cake can be accompanied with coffee or green tea.  Surely your friends or company will not forget it.
